Kerian: "I would be happy to endorse the petticoat you sold me. It is beautiful and well- made :-). One of these days I will get a poodle skirt or something to go with it. I would appreciate your input on any '50s fashions it might be good to wear with. Besides poodle skirts, I don't really know much about '50s fashions. What I guess would be really nice would be a '50s dress (non-square dance) but I don't know where to buy one.

Anyway, you can count me among you satisfied customers. I hope there are more than half a dozen of us now who have bought your wonderful petti. It is a great product...it exudes quality--something hard to find these days!."

Erin: "I am ecstatic with the opportunity to say a few words about the gorgeous petticoat that I bought from Aunt Tessy. The fit was perfect! It was cut to a perfect length for me as I can wear it with My LG outfits or with my teenage dance skirts. I love the three scrumptious tiers of delicate lace that cover the taffeta underskirt. The taffeta feels so cool against my legs whether I am in bare legs, Bobby socks, lace anklets, or wearing a pair of silky nylons. When I walk, the lace deliciously glides over taffeta and makes such a lovely swishing and crunching sound. The petticoat compliments all my outfits and I wear it all the time. I can hardly wait to wear it to Camp II in November, so that I might show it off at the fashion show on Saturday Night. Thanks Aunt Tessy for the most beautiful petticoat I have ever seen or owned, Now I want one in Green or Red!"

Liesel: "I was So Very Happy when my Antique Angel Petticoat arrived. It reminds me very much of the petticoats that Gramma used to have. One thing I specially like is how well it's made. All the seams are straight, fine cut and even over their length. Two needle stitching was used to attach the lace to the outer layer of net. At the hem the net has been rolled and stitched so there are no rough edges under the bottom lace. The hem of the net layer has a narrow band of lace on it so, when the wide layer of covering lace above it moves, the hem still has a fine finished appearance. The taffeta in the yoke and bottom layer is fine material with no sign of blemish or imperfection. The waist band is covered and perfectly stitched. In short I couldn't wish for a better petticoat. The Antique Angel is also one of the prettiest petticoats I've ever seen. I ordered mine 19 inches long and, although the original design had a long yoke, I was able to get the shorter length I wanted without giving up any of that lovely lace. I plan to wear mine at camp; it is just right with my pleated skirts. Opening the pleats just a little it gives my skirt a nice bouncy movement."

Jimmy:  "WELL, LIZ THE POSTMAN JUST DELIVERED THE PETTI YOU MADE .  IT LOOKS GREAT AND IT LOOKS EVERY BIT LIKE I ENVISIONED.  IN FACT THE SECOND LAYER OF PETTI LOOKS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD.  YOU NEED TO BE COMMENDED ON YOUR SEWING ABILITY AND KNACK FOR FIXING ITEMS UP.  ON THE OTHER HAND I DO NOT KNOW THE DIFFICULTY YOU HAD MAY HAVE HAD.  YOU MAY NOT WANT TO EVER MAKE ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT.  IT CAME OUT EXACTLY LIKE  I WANTED IT.  I WAS A LITTLE BIT NERVOUS ABOUT THE SIZES I GAVE YOU.  I TRIED TO BE CAREFUL IN MEASURING.  WELL THE PETTI CAME OUT FITTING PERFECTLY. SO EVIDENTLY I DID A GOOD JOB OF MEASURING.   THE BOW ON THE FRONT LOOKS GOOD...IF I EVER WANT TO HAVE SOMETHING MADE AGAIN I WILL BE GIVING YOU A BUZZ."

Shelley's Experience --

"When I was a child, my sister had a petticoat slip that I thought was the most beautiful garment in the world. Over the years, I have spent much money in search of that petticoat I dearly remember. Although others have come close, it was the gorgeous petticoat slip that I ordered from Tessy that has made my dreams come true. From the delicate satin ribbon straps, to the tricot bodice (with a dainty rosette embellishing it), to the bouffant skirt that crinkles and swishes at the slightest movement. I almost swooned the first time it floated down my torso. Just looking at it gives me delicious feelings. Thank you so much, Tessy!"

Heather's Comments --

"The Little Girl's 50's style slip and the rumba panties, are of highest quality material and made to the customer's specification."

Liesel received the first Little Girl Petti!

"Here’s my report on my new "little girl" style petticoat. First of all, I love how Bright White it is; ya almost need sun glasses <hehehe>.

As with the Antique Angel petticoat, the quality the little girls' petticoat is First Rate: All but two of the seams are sewn with double needle and overcast. The two seams that are single stitched are where the satin ribbon shoulder straps are sewn to the back of the petticoat. I think this is good, as it will make changing the straps easy, should one decide to have longer straps. The taffeta and tricot are of fine weave with no sign of defect. The net has an even weave with excellent bonding. The smocking in the tricot at the back of the petticoat has evenly spaced rows with even gathering. The bodice of the petticoat has a one half inch border of white lace at the top and a trio of happy rose buds where the shoulder straps attach at the top. The skirt of the petticoat has three tiers and is made of taffeta with a woven white on white pattern of delightful dots. The bottom of the skirt is hemmed the full length of the bottom tier. This double fabric bottom tier gives the petticoat a fine finished look makes it easier to lengthen the petticoat if that was desired later. Each tier of the petticoat is overlaid with net and the net is edged with a one inch wide band of white lace. These overlay the seam of the next tier to add to the fine quality look. I like the fit of the petticoat; the smocking at the back makes it fit just perfect!"
